The laureate of the Alumni Award 2015 in Applied Sciences is Dr Christophe Caucheteur from the University of Mons
The Alumni Award jury chaired by Prof. Pierre Wolper was impressed by the constant level of excellence in the study and research achievements of the laureate, Dr Christophe Caucheteur, who is a F.R.S. - FNRS research associate at the Department of Electromagnetism and Telecommunication of the Faculty of Polytechnique at UMons. He has an impressive academic track record for his own research line in the area of optical fiber sensing platforms for in situ (bio)chemical detection. Co founder also of B-sens .
The Alumni award 2015 in the amount of 10 000 euro was officially handed over to Dr Christophe Caucheteur at the BAEF Fellows luncheon on Friday, June 5, 2015. On this occasion Prof. Pierre Wolper gave this laudatio.
The Alumni award 2016 will be in the field of the human sciences.
