Fellowships for Graduate study in the U.S.A.   

The fellowship is an outright non renewable grant of up to $46,000 (Master) - $51,000 (Ph.D).. The stipend of $16,000 is to cover living and travel expenses. In addition, the Foundation pays up to $30,000 for tuition for master's programs and up to $35,000 for the Ph.D. programs and health insurance at a U.S. university. Fellows are expected to stay in the U.S.A. for a full academic year (nine months).
Students who have means of their own to finance their studies in the U.S.A. may apply for an Honorary Fellowship of the Foundation.  

Eligibility requirements 
  

1. be a Belgian citizen;

2. be registered in the last year of an academic Master's program or have obtained an academic Master's degree not more than four years before application. The academic Master's degree must be obtained from a Belgian university;

3. submit official transcripts as evidence of an outstanding academic record;

4. have a good command of the English language ( TOEFL iBT score of at least 100/120 or IELTS 7.5/9 before November 15).

Before October 31 for studies during the following academic year.
