Fellowships for Graduate study in the U.S.A.   

The fellowship is an outright non renewable grant of up to $45,000. The stipend of $15,000 is to cover living and travel expenses. In addition, the Foundation pays up to $30,000 for tuition and health insurance at a U.S. university. Fellows are expected to stay in the U.S.A. for a full academic year (nine months).
Students who have means of their own to finance their studies in the U.S.A. may apply for an Honorary Fellowship of the Foundation.  

Eligibility requirements 
  

1. be a Belgian citizen;

2. submit an application not earlier than in the last year of an academic Master program or  second cycle of university studies and not later than four years after obtaining that degree. 

The academic master degree must be obtained from a Belgian institution  recognized as a university by either the "Vlaams Ministerie van Onderwijs en Vorming" or the "Administration Générale de l'Enseignement et de la Recherche Scientifique";

3. have an outstanding academic record;

4. have a good command of the English language and a TOEFL iBT score of at least 100/120.      

Deadline for Application 
  

Before October 31 for study during following academic year.
